The first premiere of the cartoon took place on December 31, 2011 on France 3 , and then on April 10, 2013 in fifty cinemas in France [1] and in more than 150 countries around the world. In the United States, 100,000 DVDs were sold [2] .
Story
In Antarctica, the penguin’s peaceful life was interrupted by a group of walruses who demanded that they give half of their caught fish to them. As an example of an ultimatum, one walrus throws a penguin's egg into the water. The penguins themselves have nothing to do but to fulfill the requirements of the walrus.
A walrus-kicked egg sails the seas and soon arrives at the tropical jungle. There the egg finds a tigress and starts raising a hatched penguin. The penguin will grow up, acquire a tiger coloring and acquire a son in the form of a fish.
Penguin Pong, having heard about the "Great Warrior Tiger", together with his sister Ping, arrives in the jungle to find him and turn to him for help. Along the way, the penguins are confronted by Gorilla Miguel, who promises to bring them to the "Great Tiger Warrior", whose name is Maurice. After listening to the story of Ping and Pong, Maurice agrees to hit the road, taking the team of Miguel, tiller Gilbert, frogs Al and Bob and warthog Fred.
Having passed the way, the heroes make a night in a cave, the inhabitant of which is Bat Batrisia, she is glad to new guests. Maurice tells Batricia that his team needs another warrior and asks if she knows anyone, but the latter does not know anyone. Maurice, taking advantage of Pong's advice that Batricia will be useful to the team, for example, how to observe from the air, decides to take it. Batrissia herself was afraid to “leave the house,” but having fallen in love with Gilbert, she immediately agreed without any fear to join the team.
Arriving in Antarctica, the heroes are faced with walruses, but they are defeated by them. The walruses, not wanting to forgive their unsuccessful attempt at rebellion, they take the penguin's eggs and demand the penguins themselves to give up all the fish they have caught. The penguins are disappointed in defeat (including Pong, who was the one who hoped that Maurice would save everyone) and even the team itself was disappointed in Maurice. But Maurice convinces the team to try again to defeat the walrus.
First of all, the team replaces the eggs confiscated from the walrus, and the eggs themselves return to the penguins. Maurice begins to develop tactics and prepare penguins for confrontation with walruses.
When the walruses returned to the penguins, they beat them, trapping them. Finally, having won one and all, including the main one, the “Jungle Squad” says goodbye to the penguins and returns back home to the jungle.
