Biography
Born on October 6, 1955 in the town of Avdarma, Moldavian SSR.
In 1985 he graduated from the Odessa Pedagogical Institute (now the South Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky ). Engaged in coaching since 1984, being a coach at the Odessa School of Higher Sports Excellence. Among his pupils are V. Efteni [2] , V. Tasoev [1] [3] , A. Vasilenko [4] .
Currently, Ignat Grek is the head coach of the Crimean freestyle wrestling team, works in the State budgetary institution of the Republic of Crimea - “Regional Sports and Training Center“ Crimea-SPORT ”.” [five]
Prior to that, he headed the women's Olympic team of Azerbaijan, which in the team standings at the London Olympics in 2012 took third place after the Japanese and Russians. [6]
While working in Odessa, he was awarded the Honorary Distinction "Gratitude" of the Odessa Mayor. [7] In Crimea, he was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea. [eight]
