Akrapovič (Rus. Akrapovich) is a Slovenian company manufacturing automobile and motorcycle exhaust systems . Since 1990, the company began producing motorcycle exhaust systems. Since 2010, it has expanded its production to exhaust systems for automobiles [1] . Global supplier of exhaust systems in motorcycling [2] [3] . Akrapovič solutions are used in motorcycles for racing Moto GP , [4] Superbike , [5] [6] Supermoto , Motocross , Enduro and Rally Rand . As of May 2010, Akrapovič exhaust systems were used in the 38th world motorsport championships. [7]

The company collaborates with motorcycle manufacturers such as Yamaha , [8] who offer Akrapovič silencers as optional equipment for the R1 , [9] and MT-01 [10] models. BMW Motorrad installs Akrapovič mufflers on the R nineT , F800R , [11] HP2 Megamoto models , [12] they are available as an option for most of the rest of the range. Production
Akrapovič titanium foundry is located in a building with an area of 800 m 2 in the main place of the company in the city of Ivanchenko Gorica [20] . The casting process includes gas injection, X-ray radioscopy and various chemical analyzes using CAD / CAM / CEA tools. The company also manufactures a titanium range called Akrapovič Evolution [21] .
