Physical location
The village is located off the banks of the Shan River. Nearby is the village of Borodino (3.5 km), DNT Solntsevo (3.2 km).
History
In 1782, Obukhovo was the village of Nikolai Ivanovich Pustoroslev on the left bank of the Shan River , in it there was a wooden manor house, a fruit garden, 38 peasant households, 201 residents [2] .
In 1863, Obukhovo (Abukhovo) was the owner's village, 2nd camp of the Medynsky district, on the left side of the Medyn-Gzhatsk highway [3] . In the village there are 23 courtyards, 273 inhabitants.
In 1891, Obukhovo was a village and a village in the Romanov parish of the Medyn county [4] . Seltso without residents, 254 people live in the village.
