Amiran Shotaevich Revishvili ( Georgian ამირან შოთას ძე რევიშვილი ; born February 11, 1956 , Moscow ) - Soviet and Russian cardiac surgeon , inventor, organizer of medical science, professor. Academician of RAS and RAMS , member of the Presidium of RAMS, director of the Institute of Surgery. A.V. Vishnevsky RAMS (since 2015).

Biography

Born February 11, 1956 in the city of Moscow.

In 1979 he graduated from the 1st MMI named after I.M.Sechenova of the Ministry of Health of the USSR and graduate school of the same institute.

From 1982 to 1998 He works at the A. N. Bakulev Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, first as a senior research fellow, then as the head of the hyperbaric oxygenation laboratory.

In 1990 he defended his doctoral dissertation. He has the academic title of professor.

In 2002, he was elected a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences with a degree in cardiac surgery .

In 2011, he was elected a full member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences , majoring in cardiac surgery .

In 2013, he was elected a full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Department of Physiology and Fundamental Medicine [1] .

Honors and Awards

  • 1986 - Laureate of the State Prize for the development and implementation in clinical practice of new electrophysiological diagnostic methods and operations for ventricular overexcitation syndromes, supraventricular and ventricular tachycardia and the development of a new direction - surgical arrhythmology.
  • 2003 - Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology [2] .
  • Twice winner of the National Prize “Calling” : - 2007 in the nomination “For the creation of a new direction in medicine” - for the treatment and prevention of life-threatening arrhythmias and the prevention of sudden death [3] ; 2011 - in the nomination "For the creation of a new diagnostic method" - for the development of a new method of non-invasive electrophysiological examination of the heart and the creation of the Amikard diagnostic complex, which allows to detect foci of arrhythmia and ischemia with the highest localization accuracy without introduction into the human body.   • 2017 - State Prize in the field of science and technology - for the development of a unique method for the diagnosis of arrhythmia [5] .
