The celebrations coincided with the International Music Day . This is the first and only monument in Ukraine to Andrey Kuzmenko.
Content
History
October 1, 2015, on the International Day of Music in Lutsk, Andrey Pokrovsky, at his own expense, erected and solemnly opened the first monument to Kuzma Scriabin in Ukraine. According to the patron, Kuzma was a person in which everyone can see a piece of himself:
| He was a worthy companion for me and for millions of Ukrainians. By his example he taught to love the world, to love oneself, to love Ukraine |
The parents and wife of the Ukrainian singer were invited to the opening. Father said that the singer was especially warm with Lutsk: “Andrei always, when he came from concerts that he held in Lutsk and other cities of Volyn , he always told us:“ There are such people, they accept me like that. I was so impressed with them love, their culture. ”
The musician’s mother Olga Mikhailovna noted that she wants this place to never be empty, and young people familiar with Andrey’s songs listened to them in a new way. According to her, the time behind the “ banter ” he hid his bitterness and disappointment, because what he talked about with laughter was not really funny.
An epitaph is written on the back of the bench by the figure:
