Zhuravkov Yuri Mikhailovich (September 9, 1938) - Russian architect, corresponding member of RAASN. Born in Artyom of the Primorsky Territory. He spent his childhood in the Krasnoyarsk Territory in Chulym and Bogotol. He graduated from the Novosibirsk State Architectural and Construction Institute named after V.V. Kuibysheva in 1964. In 1964-1966 he worked at the Siberian Research Institute of Experimental Design in Novosibirsk . Since 1966 he moved to Novokuznetsk . From 1966 to 2001 in the Kuzbassgrazhdanproekt (since 1983 the chief architect). He took part in the development of the General Plan of the city of Kuzbassgrazhdanproekt. In 1997, trained at the University of California. In 1997-2001 he taught at the Department of Architecture at SibGIU. In 2011-2012, he taught at the Department of Municipal Management of the Scientific Research Institute of KemSU [1] In 2017, he teaches at the Department of Architecture of SibGUU [2]
