Biography

Born in Chernigov in the family of the director and actor, Honored Art Worker of Ukraine Vyacheslav Nikolayevich Zhyly. Mother - Alexandra Evgenievna Zhyla, deputy director of the Ternopol Academic Regional Drama Theater named after T.G. Shevchenko . Younger brother - Alexander Zhyla - theater and film actor. [one]

Higher education received at the Kiev University of Theater, Cinema and Television. I. Karpenko-Kary in the specialty "Theater Art" (2008). In 2016, he graduated from Kiev University of Law with a degree in Law. In 2017 - International Management Institute (MIM-Kiev), specializing in Master of Business Administration , Master of Public Administration.

Married, has a son Fedor.

Theatrical career

In 2013, he founded with his partners the theater and concert agency RB Group, which over the course of five years of its activity carried out about 150 performances and concerts on leading Kiev stages, including its own entreprise with the participation of stars of Ukrainian theater, film and television ( Vladimir Goryansky , Alexey Vertinsky , Ruslana Pysanka , Olga Sumy , Anton Mukharsky , Valery Harchishin , Garik Korogodskii , Alexander Melamud and others), performances in Kiev, Mikhail Efremov , Andrey Makarevich , Chris Norman , Dan McCafferty , David Knopfler , ima Owens and other [3] .

In 2016, he founded the theater school "Super Task", where acting is taught by leading actors of Kiev theaters and Ukrainian cinema. The artistic director of the studio is the People's Artist of Ukraine Aleksey Vertinsky [4] .

Actor Theater

In May 2017, he was appointed director and artistic director of the Actor Theater [5] . As the first steps in the new position, a manifesto was developed, which the theater is guided to this day. The development of the theater is carried out in four directions: Actor.CLASSICA, Actor.UNDERGROUND, Actor.KIDS and Actor.HOME THEATER. [6] .

For the first month of work under the direction of Slava Zhyly, “Actor” released four premiere performances: “The Bear” and “The Offer” by A. Chekhov , “Fight Club” by C. Palanik , “Hello, I am your aunt” by B. Thomas and "Two on a swing" by W. Gibson . On the stage of the theater are the national artists of Ukraine Ada Rogovtseva , Alexei Vertinsky, Larisa Rusnak, Lyudmila Smorodina , Anatoly Gnatyuk and actors of leading Kiev theaters.
