Biography

Anna Porfiryevna was born in the family of a military leader, the guard of Colonel Porfiry Alexandrovich Shtakhanovsky (before the Great Patriotic War - head of the personnel department of the North Caucasus Railway, honorary security officer). Since 1918, Shtakhanovskaya’s father worked in the criminal investigation system, headed the department for combating banditry, a major military leader during the Great Patriotic War. The name of Shtakhanovsky Porfiry Alexandrovich is one of the streets of the city of Rostov-on-Don. The brother of Anna Porfiryevna Shtakhanovskaya Konstantin went missing on the fronts of World War II. Alexander's younger sister worked as a teacher in a comprehensive school.

Anna Porfiryevna graduated from the P. F. Lesgaft State Institute of Physical Culture (now NSU named after P. F. Lesgaft, St. Petersburg).

As a student, she repeatedly won the CCCR Athletics Championships. The priority areas in her sports career were speed skating, cycling and cycling on the track. In 1939-1940 she became the champion of the USSR in the individual sprint race. Repeated record holder of the USSR. She graduated from the institute with the title of "Master of Sports of the USSR."

Together with his father, Porfiry Alexandrovich Shtakhanovsky went through the entire Great Patriotic War. She began in the Rostov people's militia as the operating sister of the medical battalion. She distinguished herself at the beginning of the war in the battles of the 41st on the defense and liberation of Rostov-on-Don. She showed feat and courage, being the commander of the medical company 122 of the separate Rostov Rifle Regiment. Under heavy artillery fire, she crossed the Don River and rafted the wounded to the wounded on the other side of the Don. Saved the medical company. For the achievement of a feat during the fighting was presented to the highest rank of Hero of the Soviet Union. However, A.P. Shtakhanovsky, being the regiment commander, considered it impossible, for ethical reasons, to sign his daughter's award sheet. Presumably, the document on the submission to the title of Hero of the Soviet Union is stored in the Russian State Archives.

After the battles for Rostov-on-Don, Anna Porfiryevna’s biography included the heroic defense of the Caucasus, battles for Novorossiysk, Malaya Zemlya, forcing the Kerch Strait on the Kerch Peninsula to the rear of the German invaders; During the landing, rescued more than 90 soldiers and officers. Participated in the battles for Kerch, Yalta, Sevastopol, the Baltic States, Koenigsberg, in the liberation of Belarus. After the capture of Königsberg, she continued to serve in the Soviet troops in Germany (SWAG): Saxony-Anhalt Land, Halle, in the operations department as an assistant operative in the Soviet administration.

She was buried on June 19, 2009 in Moscow at the military necropolis of the Perepechensky cemetery .
