David Weishampel ( born November 16, 1952 ) is an American paleontologist at the Center for Functional Anatomy and Evolution of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine with 1985 year. In 1975, he received a bachelor's degree from the Ohio State University ("The Ohio State University"), in 1978 - a master's degree at the University of Toronto, and in 1981 - a Phd. D. Geology at the University of Pennsylvania . His studies concern the systematics of dinosaurs , the Late Cretaceous dinosaurs of Europe, the vegetation and mechanics of the jaws, cladistics and heterochrony , and the history of evolutionary biology . Co-author of the scientific description of taxa: " Ajkaceratops kozmai ", " Anikosaurus darwini ", " Iguanodon lakotaensis " (now " Dakotadon lakotaensis "), Niobrarasaurus , " Orodromeus makelai ".
