Silver, Beverly

She grew up in Detroit , during a period of intense struggle of the working class. ^[2] She took an active part in the trade union of agricultural workers and a solidarity campaign with Chile .

She studied at Barnard College ( bachelor , economics ). She received a Ph.D. at Binghamton University , where she took part in research at the Center.
