History

On the map of F. F. Schubert of 1844 and S. S. Kutorgi of 1852 is not indicated, there is only Castino [2] [3] .

According to the “Topographic Map of Parts of St. Petersburg and Vyborg Provinces” in 1860, the village was called Savonkul , consisted of 10 peasant households and was part of the large village of Kastino [4] .

CASTINO (KOGRIONKULYA, SOVENKYULYA, AGOKAS) - the village of Oranienbaum Palace Board at the well, the number of courtyards - 16, the number of inhabitants: 57 m., 61 w. p. (1862) [5]

In 1885, the village was called Savangul and consisted of 10 yards .

In the XIX - early XX centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Staroskvoritsky volost of the 3rd camp of the Tsarskoye Selo district of St. Petersburg province .

By 1913, the village merged with the village of Castino [6] .

From 1917 to 1923, the village of Savonkyulya was part of the Kastinsky village council of the Staroskvoritsky volost of the Detskoselsky district .

Since 1923, as part of the Vengissarovsky volost.

Since 1924, as part of the Ondrovsky village council of the Hungarian district of Gatchinsky district .

Since 1927, as part of the Gatchina district.

Since 1928, as part of the Vohonovsky Village Council. In 1928, the population of the village of Savonkylä was 144 people [7] .

According to the topographic map of 1931, the village was called Savonkylä and consisted of 30 yards.

According to 1933, the village was called Savonkyulya and was part of the Vohonovsky village council of the Krasnogvardeisky district separately from the village of Kastino [8] .

Since 1939, as part of the Nizkovitsky Village Council.

From August 1, 1941 to December 31, 1943 the village was under occupation.

Since 1954, as part of the Bolsheondrovsky village council.

In 1965, the population of Savonkylä village was 52 people [7] .

According to data from 1966 and 1973, the village was called Savankyla and was part of the Bolsheondrovsky village council [9] [10] .

According to 1990, the village of Savankyulya was part of the Syasyakel village council of the Gatchinsky district [11] .

Geography

The village is located in the northwestern part of the district on the highway 41K-220 ( Kezelovo - Bolshoy Ondrovo ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement, the village of Syaskyalevo is 13 km [12] .

The distance to the nearest railway station Voyskovitsy is 15 km [9] .

In 1997, 1 person lived in the village, in 2002 - 16 people (Russians - 69%, Finns - 31%) [18] [19] .

As of January 1, 2007, there were 5 households in the village where 13 people lived, in 2010 - 17 [12] [20] [21] .
