The 2017 European Team Drafts Championship for Women was held from September 17 to 23 in Vilnius , Lithuania at the same time as the European Team Championship for Men in the classic, lightning (blitz) and fast (rapid) program formats.
The composition of the team - 2 athletes, two more could be spare. The competition was held in a circular system with time control 1 hour 20 minutes + 1 minute per move in the classic program, 15 minutes + 5 seconds per move in rapid speed and 5 minutes + 3 seconds per move in blitz. Competitions in the classic and fast programs were held on a round-robin system, the blitz passed on the playoff system.
