This article is a list of films nominated for the 90th Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film . Since the creation of the category in 1956, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences annually invites the film industries of different countries to nominate their best films for the Academy Award. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Cinema Awards is annually presented to films produced outside the United States. The Oscar Committee oversees the process and reviews all the nominated films [1] [2] .
