Venue Selection
In December 2016, an open tender was organized for the first time in UEFA, at which venues for the club tournament finals were selected (UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, UEFA Women's Champions League and UEFA Super Cup) [5] [6] . Associations were to express interest and submit applications by June 6, 2017, by January 27, 2017.
UEFA announced on February 3, 2017 that nine associations have expressed interest in hosting [7] . On June 7, 2017, it became known that seven associations applied for the Super Bowl [8] :

The application evaluation report was published by UEFA on September 14, 2017 [9] . Vodafon Park was chosen as the venue for the Super Cup by the UEFA Executive Committee on September 20.
Place of Collection
This is the first UEFA Super Cup to be held in Turkey, where the UEFA final soccer tournament was held for the third time after the 2005 UEFA Champions League Final at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium and the 2009 UEFA Cup Final at the Fenerbahç stadium Shyukru Sarajoglu , which are also in Istanbul [10] .
