Nikolo Matrynino is a disappeared village in the Medyn district of the Kaluga Region , a former churchyard with a wooden church in the name of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker . Nearby are the existing villages: Obukhovo (3 km), Borodino (5 km) and Romanovo (5 km).

History
In 1733, in the village, the foreman Kirill Maksimovich Redkin built a stone church with a stone bell tower of the Transfiguration of the Savior [1] . In the future, it completely deteriorated [2] .
In 1782, Nikolaevsky, referred to as "in Matryonin", was mentioned as a churchyard, by priests and clergymen, without peasants, under the estate, tithe and 53 sazhen lands, standing on the Sukhodol River and the Shan River [3] .
In 1859, Matryonino (Nikolskoye, Nikolo-Matryonino) was listed as a spiritual possessive village with an Orthodox church [4] . After the reforms of 1861, it entered the Romanov parish of the Medyn district [5] .
In 1914, Nikolo Matrynino was a village without residents [6] .
