Granblue Fantasy of The the Animation ( . Nn グランブルーファンタジージ·アニメーション« Fantasy Granblyu") - an anime adaptation of a Japanese RPG - Quest Granblue Fantasy for devices iOS and All Android , released in March 2014. In September 2015, it was announced that the A-1 Pictures studio would take up the anime adaptation in the form of a TV series [1] . May 8, 2016 began the release of manga in the publishing house "Cycomics". At the moment, three volumes of manga have been released.

Story
The story takes place in a fictional world where countless islands drift in the sky and everything is saturated with magic. The young man Gran and his talking serpent friend named Viy find on one of these islands Lyria, a girl who escaped from the Erste empire. Now, the heroes embark on a long journey through these islands in order to hide from a powerful empire and find the missing father of Gran.

Grand ( Japanese グ ラ ン Guu: ran )
- Seiyu : Yuki Ono [2]
Wii ( ビ ィ Wii ) - A lizard-like creature that insists that it is a dragon. He is a companion of Gran and follows him anywhere. He has a love for apples, and it has been noticed that he is somewhat inclined to do something when he is offered an apple as a reward.
- Seiyu : Rie Kugimiya
Lyria ( ル リ ア Ruu: riya ) - Lyria has the ability to connect with the Primordial Beasts through its powers, represented by a blue gem. The empire held her hostage because they wanted to use it in their experiments.

Catalina Alisa ( カ タ リ ナ ・ ア リ ゼ Katarina Ari: ze ) - Former lieutenant of the Empire. She rescues Lyria from her cell on the Empire’s ship and runs away. Despite her success, she is branded as a traitor, but believes that Lyria did the right thing. She is a strong sword fighter and a rapier wielder. She often shows her skills when confronting Empire soldiers.

An adaptation of the novel was released in 2014. There are currently four books in the series that contain game codes that can be used for special items in the game. The digital volumes of the Granblue Fantasy light novel also contain game codes. [3]
Game
“Granblue Fantasy” - came out as an independent project from the Cygames development team. In essence, this is an RPG where you fight and gain experience or skills for the main characters. The game also has two modes: "Story Quest" and "Special Event Quest". The game is only for iOS or Android devices. The game has a Donat system.
Initially, the game was to be released in Japan on December 20, 2013, but then its start was delayed on April 8, 2014. The game entered the world market only in March 2016. In the same month, the game was downloaded 10 million times in Japan.
Anime Series
An anime adaptation of the game was announced in September 2015 [4] . The director was Yuki Ito, the character design was developed by Toshifumi Akai, and the music was written by Nobuo Uematsu, Tsutomu Narita and Yasunori Nishiki. The opening song, entitled "GO", was performed by a musical group - "Bump of Chicken"; The closing composition is Sora no Parade ( Japanese я ラ の パ レ ー ド ) , performed by HARUHI. Anime series produced by A-1 Pictures . Initially, the broadcast of the series was supposed to be in January 2017 [5] , however, for some unknown reason, the broadcast was carried on April 1 [6] . On January 21, 2017, a special television movie was broadcast on the Tokyo MX in front of the anime series, in which the first two episodes of the anime series were broadcast. Aniplex of America licensed the series in North America. A film adaptation of 12 episodes aired from April 2 to June 18, 2017 on Tokyo MX and other channels. An additional episode of “Another Sky,” released on June 25, 2017 on Tokyo MX , and the release of the 7th volume of Blu-ray / DVD, released on October 25, showed this and the second additional episode. MVM Films has released a series in the UK. [7]
The second season was announced in July 2019. The premiere will take place on October 4, 2019 on Tokyo MX and other channels. The second season creates MAPPA . Yui Umemoto leads the second season, and new screenwriter Kiyoko Yoshimura is writing the story, and Fumihide Sai is the new character designer. Tsutomu Narita and Yasunori Nishiki return to write musical accompaniment. All seiyu from the first season return to their places. [eight]
