Tobias Karlsson ( Swede. Tobias Karlsson ; born June 4, 1981 , Karlskrona , Sweden ) is a Swedish handball player , captain of the German club Flensburg-Handewitt , a former player of the Swedish national team , in which he won the silver of the 2012 Olympic Games.

Career

Club

Tobias Karlsson began his professional career at the Swedish club Hesto. In 2002, Karlsson joined the Norwegian club of the Stavanger Group of Companies. Tobias Karlsson as a member of the GC Stavanger became the vice champion of the Norwegian championship. In 2003, Tobias Karlsson returned to Sweden, becoming a Hammerby player. As part of Hammerby, Karlsson became the three-time champion of Sweden. In 2006, Karlsson was leased to the German club GK Kiel , in which he won the German championship. In 2008, Tobias Karlsson moved to Nordhorn. In 2009, Karlsson moved to Flensburg-Handewitt . As part of Flensburg-Handewitt, Tobias Karlsson won the German Cup and won the EHF Champions League.

International Career

Tobias Karlsson played for Sweden in 2006-2016. Karlsson played 180 matches and scored 81 goals. Tobias Karlsson is the silver medalist of the 2012 Olympic Games. In September 2017, Tobias Karlsson announced the suspension of his performance for the Swedish national team [1] .
