The Atlanta Open Championship 2015 is the 28th draw of the professional men's tennis tournament held in Atlanta , USA , and is part of the ATP World Tour as part of the ATP 250 series . Also, the competition opened the male part of the season of the US Open Series .

General Information

The first seeded in the single-player tournament was the winner of the last two draws, John Isner (No. 18 in the world at the time). The American was able to confirm the status of the favorite and won the tournament for the third time in a row. Izner was the first tennis player to win local competitions three times in a row. In the finals, he beat the fifth seed number of Marcos Bagdatis , who for the first time in four years played in the single final round. In general, the representatives of the United States in the home tournament have been winning for 7 years in a row: before Izner from 2009 to 2012, the winners were Robbie Ginepri , twice Mardi Fish and Andy Roddick .

In the doubles tournament, the winner was also a pair that was sown under the first number, Bob and Mike Bryan .
