The Lyceum of Chaptal ( fr. Lycée Chaptal ) is a public educational institution located on Batignolles boulevard, house number 45, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris , opposite the metro station Roma and the railway lines of Saint-Lazare station .

Content
History
The Lyceum of Chaptal was founded by Prosper Gubo , originally named: “Municipal School of Francis I ” ( fr. École municipale Francois I er ), today's name was given in 1848 . Prosper Gubo put three busts in high school. Also in his honor in 1993 were named the most prestigious hall of the institution (currently a conference hall and exam room, previously a living room), and a place located about 200 meters from the lyceum. The training began on October 7, 1844 [1] [2] .
The architect of the buildings of the reign of Napoleon III was (1832-1903). Work continued from 1866 to 1876, with a break in connection with the Franco-Prussian war from 1870 to 1871. Tra developed a plan based on the division into three colleges of the school of Francis I surrounding the courtyard. All buildings have different entrances: Boulevard de Batignolles, , , and can be accessed from the gym or refectory through indoor galleries.
