Story
Suzuki, a twenty-nine-year-old programmer, was forced to work in the “death march” mode, depriving himself of sleep and rest, on creating a new role-playing game . Having lost his last strength, he decides to fall asleep at the table, but wakes up in a world similar to a game whose code he wrote. After some time, he realizes that this is not a dream, and he was reborn as a fifteen-year-old teenager, whom others call Satu Pendragon. Gradually, a group of young girls in love with him begins to form around the hero who decided to become an adventurer. Thanks to the game code introduced in the real world, Satu manages to raise his level to the maximum possible, however, he keeps this information secret from his fellow travelers [2] .

Anime
In the fourth volume of the manga, released on December 10, 2016, anime adaptations were announced. [8] The production of the TV series based on Silver Link will be directed by Onuma Shin . [9]
Criticism
The franchise received low marks from critics who noted that the plot of the work is a typical example of the Isekai genre [10] . In a review of the original runabe, Rebecca Silverman indicated that the authors of such works make a small change in the established cliche , due to which they further develop the plot [2] . In her opinion, in the case of Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody, such a change was the preservation of the adult’s consciousness in a fellow member, which allowed the audience not to ask the question “is this again?” [2] . Nevertheless, in the opinion of other Anime News Network reviewers, this was clearly not enough to consider such a work at least somewhat unique, taking into account its obvious further development according to the canons of the genre of harem [10] .
