Biography
Born on the territory of the present Yenbekshikazakh region of Kazakhstan .
In 1957, he won the first prize of the Republican Youth Festival in Almaty. In 1957 he was accepted to study at the conservatory of the Kazakh capital.
In 1963 he graduated from the Alma-Ata Conservatory . In the same year he became a soloist of the Kazakh Opera and Ballet Theater (now the Kazakh Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abai ).
One of the leading performers of lyric and dramatic parties in Kazakh opera performances.
On the stage of the opera house he performed the parts:
- Adak, Akhana in operas “Aisulu”, “Zhumbak kyz” and “Akhan seri - Aktokty” by S. Mukhamedzhanov ,
- Tulegen, Balapan in operas “ Kyz Zhibek ”, “Yer Targyn” by E. Brusilovsky ,
- Birzhan in the opera " Birzhan and Sarah " by M. Tulebaev ,
- Ahmet in the opera "Kamar Sulu" by E. Rakhmadiyev ,
- Aydara in the opera “ Abai ” by A. Zhubanova and L. Hamidi and others.
The repertoire of the singer includes Kazakh folk songs, Russian romances and songs by foreign composers. The performances of N. Karazhigit were recorded on records. [1] His recordings of Abay's songs “Aittym sәlem, Kalamkas”, “Kor boldy zhanim”, “Kөzіmnің Karasy” and others are stored in the record library of the Kazakh radio. [2]
Engaged in teaching activities, since 1979 - Associate Professor of Alma-Ata Conservatory. Now - Professor of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai .
