Biography
Alla Koroleva was born on November 24, 1940 in Moscow . In 1956 she began to engage in fencing. The athlete at different times was trained by two honored trainers of the USSR - Alexander Perekalsky and David Tyshler . She played for the sports society Dynamo (Moscow). In 1963, she began to play for the Russian national team. She defended the title of USSR master of sports in fencing. In 1963, she became the winner in the foil fencing team championship [1] at the World Championships in Gdansk , which was held from July 15 to 28. 14 teams competed in the team championships; the USSR team, in addition to Alla Koroleva, included athletes Tatyana Samusenko , Diana Nikanchikova , Alexandra Zabelina , Galina Gorokhova [2] .
In 1966 she was the winner of the European Team Cup [1] . Senior Researcher, VNIIFK [3] . The name of Alla Koroleva under her maiden name - Shepeleva, often appears in sports and Soviet encyclopedias [3] .
Alla Petrovna Koroleva is the author of the book “The Scientific Fundamentals of Sports Fencing,” published in 2004 [4] .
