Biography

Fedor Petrovich Parfinenko was born in 1907 in the village of Elizabethan Kuban region in a poor peasant family. Already at 10 years old, he had to earn a living by grazing cattle, driving horses during the threshing of the crop.

In 1921, the family moved to the Kavalersky farm of the now Yegorlyksky district. In 1934, Fedor from the Kavalersky MTS was sent to the village of Sredny Yegorlyk, where he graduated from machine operator courses, showing good technical knowledge, and independently mastered the lathe.

In the spring-autumn period, together with other machine operators, he worked in the field, and in winter he was engaged in the repair of equipment.

Fedor Petrovich also worked in the Kavalersky MTS as a threshing machine operator, tractor driver, and combine harvester. Through his hands passed all brands of domestic combines of the Rostselmash plant.

In 1949, for his diligent work, Fedor Parfinenko was awarded a high government award - the Order of the Red Banner of Labor. In the next year, which was unfavorable due to weather conditions, he gave out 7000 centners of grain from the bunker of the combine, for which he was awarded the medal “For Labor Distinction”.

In 1951, in 25 working days, Fedor Petrovich threshed 8414 centners of grain crops with a Stalinets-1 combine.

For this achievement, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 27, 1952, the Kavalersky MTS combiner Fedor Petrovich Parfinenko was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the gold hammer and sickle and hammer.

Fyodor Petrovich five times participated in VDNH, was awarded the gold, silver and bronze medals of the exhibition.

In 1974, he was awarded the Moskvich car, and in 1977, the labor drummer from the Rostselmash plant team was awarded the SK-5 Niva personalized harvester.

Later, Fedor Petrovich worked on the Kirov collective farm, where he was awarded the title of Honorary Collective Farmer of the Kirov Collective Farm. He was a mentor of the student production team of the Kavalersky secondary school No. 3. He generously passed on his rich experience to the younger generation.

The name Fyodor Petrovich Parfinenko was named the prize that was awarded annually to the best combine of the region. [one]
