Biography
From a Jewish family: his mother Isabella was a teacher of foreign languages, was engaged in translating fiction from Russian ( Alexander Beck , 1960); Moses father Jurist was an employee. [2]
After graduating from the Matei Basarab Lyceum in Bucharest (1946), he entered the Faculty of Philology and Philosophy of the University of Bucharest . While still a student, he worked as an editor in the department of literature for children of the State Publishing House. During this period, began his career as a writer and translator. In 1948 he switched to the Romanian State Broadcasting, where he first worked as an editor, then headed the editorial board for children and youth. Script writer for a children's theater.
