Robert Schneider ( German: Robert Schneider ; 1976 , Leipzig [1] ) is a German journalist. Since March 1, 2016, the chief editor of Focus [2] [3] magazine.

Biography
Robert Schneider is the son of a mason and kindergarten teacher. The first four years he spent in Magdeborne, a village with a population of 3,000 inhabitants, near Leipzig, which was demolished for the subsequent extraction of brown coal in 1980. His parents first moved to Leipzig, and then to the suburb of Wachau. Schneider graduated from high school and decided to become a journalist. He started with the local branch of the Bild-Zeitung in Leipzig.
He worked as a chief editor at Superillu and Guter Rat.
In 2016, he was invited to head the Focus , where he was replaced by Jörg Kvoos.
Robert Schneider was twice married and divorced twice. He has a son. [one]
