Lokomotiv is a Soviet and Russian football club from Petrozavodsk . The best achievement - 10th place in 1950 in class “B” . Winner of the Cup of the Union Karelian-Finnish SSR on football (1951).

History
In 1921, a railway sports ground near the station was opened in the city of Petrozavodsk, a football match was held between the teams of the railway club and the 1st Finnish sports section at the new site. In 1936, the football club of the railway workers received the name Lokomotiv. [1] The team of railway workers participated in the championship of the city of Petrozavodsk and the Autonomous Karelian SSR [2] [3] . In 1950, a team of masters was formed, the head coach was Palysk, Nikolai Osipovich [4]

Stadium
In 1938, near the Zheleznodorozhnikov park, the Lokomotiv stadium was built, on which the team performed. In 1954, in connection with the construction of the road, the stadium was liquidated. In 1968-1970, a new Lokomotiv stadium was built on Muezerskaya Street [6] .
Currently in unsatisfactory condition, there are plans for its reconstruction [7] .
