Biography
Artyom Vladimirovich Kuptsov was born on April 22, 1984. He has an older brother Dmitry (born 1982), who also practices pole vaulting [2] .
Artyom trained at the Chelyabinsk Olympic Reserve School named after Elena Elesina under the guidance of A. P. Shalonnikov [3] [4] .
Champion of Europe among boys 2001 [5] . Then he was the silver medalist of the European Youth Olympic Festival in 2002, the silver medalist of the European Championship among juniors in 2003, the bronze medalist of the World War Games of 2003 [6] . He completed his career in 2008.
He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering of the South Ural State University [7] .
