Saratov bridge (new) - a bridge across the Volgograd reservoir ( Volga ) near the village of Pristannoye . The new bridge is part of the bypass road around Saratov and Engels .

The length of the bridge crossing route is 12760 m, including: approaches 8747.2 m, artificial structures - 4435.5 m. The total length of the bridge over the main channel of the Volga River is 2350.7 m, the bridge on the island of Kotluban is 310 m, the bridge over the river Kayukovka - 667 m, a bridge across the Malaya Kayukovka river - 304 m, left-bank overpass - 378.84 m and five overpasses with a total length of 424 m [1] .
In the quarry, from which building materials were taken for construction, Lake Blue formed .
Content
History
On December 16, 2000, the grand opening of the [2] [3] first stage of the highway bridge took place approximately 15 kilometers northeast of the old bridge upstream the Volga. The bridge was built according to the standards of the first European category [4] . The construction was carried out by the Mostotryad No. 8 branch of Volgomost OJSC together with the Giprotransmost Institute [5] .
The second phase of the bridge was inaugurated on October 16, 2009 [6] .
