Biography
Born in Leningrad in 1928. She played for the Leningrad DSO “ Spartak ” and “ Dynamo ”, trained under the guidance of K. K. Ptitsyn and K. B. Putyrsky [1] .
USSR champion in rowing (1950, 1951, 1957, 1958, 1962) in a doubles pair. The champion of Europe (1967, 1958, 1961, 1962) in a pair of a pair and a four of a pair (1959). In 1962 she was awarded the title of Honorary Master of Sports of the USSR.
After the end of speeches, she switched to coaching. From 1963 to 2003, she trained at the Dynamo training center. Since 1978, she also worked at the Leningrad Olympic Reserve School. She prepared many sportsmen, among them L. Parfenova, M. Zhukova, and also E. Matievskaya , the silver medalist of the 1980 Olympic Games .
She was awarded the title of Honored Trainer of the RSFSR [2] (1979) and the USSR (1986), Honored Worker of Physical Culture of the RSFSR.
She died on May 14, 2009. She was buried at the Northern cemetery of St. Petersburg [3] .
