Aleksandr Nikolayevich Lysov (born January 13, 1975, Tchaikovsky , USSR) is a Russian athlete, a master of sports in kayaking and canoeing, and a repeated champion of Russia.

Biography
In 1989, he graduated from school No. 4 in Tchaikovsky, in 1993 - Tchaikovsky College of Precision Instrumentation, majoring in “technical maintenance of machine tools with controllers and robotic systems”, acquired the qualification of “mechanical technician”. In the same year he entered the Togliatti branch of the Samara Pedagogical University with a degree in physical education and sports, which he graduated in 1997 with the qualification of a teacher of physical education [1] .
From 1993 to 2005, he worked at AvtoVAZ as a trainer-teacher, athlete-instructor of the center for physical education and children's sports, and an external security guard. In 1994-1996 he served in the army, in the Central Air Force. From 2006 to 2012 he was engaged in business, was the owner and leader of a number of organizations involved in deforestation, waste processing and fuel trade. His name was associated with the scandals surrounding the illegal cutting of healthy trees when clearing a city forest that was badly damaged by fires in 2010 [2] .
Since June 2012, he headed the department of physical education and sports of the Togliatti City Hall. After some time, the city prosecutor's office demanded his dismissal in connection with the provision of knowingly inaccurate and incomplete information about income [3] . The sports community of the city and deputies of the city council of Togliatti , who recognized the work of Lysov as unsatisfactory, also demanded the resignation of Lysov. At the end of 2014, Lysov resigned, and Alexander Gerunov became the new head of the department [4] .
Married, father of three children (born 1999, 2005, 2007). The eldest son was engaged in tennis , repeatedly became the winner and prize winner of all-Russian and European competitions [5] .
Achievements
Master of sports in kayaking and canoeing, multiple winner and medalist of youth and adult competitions of the international level, five-time champion of Russia, member of the Russian national team from 1992-1997 [5] .
