Rikyah Boyer (born April 28, 1990 in Paramaribo ) is a Surinamese-Guyanese actress, singer / songwriter and participant in beauty contests. She also graduated from the Institute of Creative Arts (theater and drama) and former FAA pilot. [1] She is a Muslim-born woman and the second Muslim woman from Guyana to win a national beauty pageant. She became the first and only Guyana to participate in several international beauty contests, the Big Four, she also introduced Guyana to the Miss Earth 2015 contest.

Miss Guyana 2012
Boyer received the crown from Leyla Lopez Miss Universe 2011 . [2] The competition was held at the Princess Hotel on September 14, 2012. During the Q&A tour, Boyer said that Lopez was her role model.
Vice-miss became Nikita Barker, the third place was taken by a Canadian-born Guyana Sadhna Yunus, and the fourth place was taken by Alexander Nikesha. [3]
On December 14, 2012, Boyer fell to the ground during the preliminary Miss Universe 2012 evening dress competition, which hit newspapers around the world. [four]
Miss World Guyana 2013
Rikyah Boyer was selected to represent the country at international competitions and represented Guyana at the Miss Universe 2012 contest in Las Vegas, Nevada, and won the 2012 Miss World Guyana contest. [1]
She represented Guyana in Bali, Indonesia at the 2013 Miss World contest in which she won Megan Young , with whom she became friends with during the contest. They were seen together in photos in numerous magazines throughout the competition.
In the same year, Boyer received the Citation Award from New York City for her work in combating domestic violence and for joining the Caribbean Domestic Violence Association in America. She was awarded advisor Ruben Wills at a recent fundraising event in New York. Wills praised Boyer for taking on this work, especially emphasizing how bullying is often a harbinger of domestic violence.
Miss International Guyana 2014
Boyer represented Guyana at the Miss International 2013 Contest in Tokyo Japan.
