Biography

Born in 1902 in the village of Kamenka. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1925.

Since 1925 - on economic, social and political work. In 1925 - 1955 - on party, Soviet work, on political work in the Red Army, head of the Main Directorate of Cinematography of the USSR Ministry of Cinematography, Minister of Cinematography of the RSFSR, Deputy Minister of Culture of the RSFSR.

He was elected deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR of the 3rd convocation.

He died in November 1955 in Moscow.
