Valle de Guanape ( Spanish: Valle de Guanape ) - a city in the north-east of Venezuela , in the state of Ansoategui . It is the administrative center of the municipality of Francisco del Carmen-Carvajal .

Geographical position
Valle de Guanape is located in the northwestern part of the state, mainly on the right bank of the Guanape River (tributary of the Unare River ), approximately 107 kilometers west-south-west (WSW) from Barcelona , the state’s administrative center. The absolute height is 294 meters above sea level [1] .
Climate
The climate of the city is characterized as tropical, with dry winters and rainy summers ( Aw in the Köppen climate classification ). The average annual rainfall is 1000 mm. The average annual temperature is 25.4 ° C [2] .
Population
According to the National Institute of Statistics of Venezuela, the population of the city in 2013 was 12,506 people [3] .
Transport
The national motorway number 11 ( Spanish Troncal 11 ) passes through the city.
