Rosen, Evgeny Andreevich

Baron Evgeny Andreevich (von) Rosen ( June 19, 1826 , St. Petersburg - 1895 , Oknino, ( Ukrainian. Vіknine), Izyumsky district of Kharkov province ) - the son of the Decembrist A. E. Rosen , grandson of V. F. Malinovsky , memoirist, staffs -Retmist of the Life Guards of the Lancer Regiment, amateur actor.

Biography

Born on June 19, 1826 in St. Petersburg in the family of Baron Andrei Evgenievich Rosen and his wife Anna Vasilievna, nee Malinovskaya . Came from the baronial family of Rosenov . It was named after his grandfather, the father of the Decembrist. At that time, his father was already under arrest in the Peter and Paul Fortress , and on February 5, 1827, having seen his wife and son, he was sent into exile in Siberia. Anna Vasilyevna wished to go after her husband, but put off her intention until her son grew up. In the early summer of 1830, she left Moscow and went to her husband in Chita , leaving four-year-old Eugene (his family was called Annie) in the care of her aunt Anna Andreevna Samborskaya and sister of Maria Vasilievna Malinovskaya. In February 1834, Maria Malinovskaya married V.D. Volkhovsky and moved with him to Tiflis , taking her nephew with her. November 10, 1838 Rosen arrived in Tiflis, and Annie first saw her parents, brothers and sister.

In 1840, Eugene entered the Moscow School of Law. In his free time he visited the Alexander Theater, where he met the tragedian V.A. Karatygin . Under his influence, he began to take part in theatrical performances. Without graduating from college, he finally entered the scene. However, uncle I.V. Malinovsky interrupted his stage talents, he strongly advised E.A. Rosen to enlist in the military. After serving 7 years in the Chuguevsky Ulansky regiment, he retired with the rank of staff captain (1851). Then, for three years, he managed the estate of his mother in Izyumsky district of Kharkov province. He lived the rest of his life on the Vicnino estate and led a quiet secluded lifestyle.

Compiled an unpublished biography of V. D. Volkhovsky. Carefully kept the memoirs of his father. Living in the village, he kept notes for 50 years, reread them and shared his thoughts with his father, writers G.P. Danilevsky and N.S. Kokhanovskaya , who lived in the neighborhood. He wished to publish his compositions in the form of posthumous notes [1] .

He died in 1895, was buried in Viknino next to his father, mother and younger brother.

Family

May 16, 1852 [2] Evgeny Andreyevich Rosen married [3] 18-year-old Natalya Grigorievna Taranukhina (1834 — after 1905), the daughter of a retired captain and landowner of the village of Taranushevka, Izyumsky district, Kharkov province. The couple settled in Raisins . This marriage was at first quite happy and at least 3 sons were known. After the betrayal of her husband, on May 19, 1878, Natalya Grigorievna filed a petition with the Spiritual Consistory for divorce. Evgeny Andreevich did not object and pleaded guilty to his wife, but did not go to the hearing to Kharkov, but sent a medical examination of his state of health. The final divorce took place on June 19, 1880. N. G. Rosen was allowed to enter into a new marriage, and E. A. Rosen, besides seven-year penance, was doomed to celibacy. After the divorce, the relations between the former spouses Rosen were good, except for the fact that Natalia Grigorievna remarried Colonel Ivan Ivanovich Korch [4] . However, already in 1885 she was a widow and takes care of her former husband, who by that time was incapable of work, suffered from paralysis of both hands and left arm. Vision and mental abilities were weak, E. A. Rosen was hard to walk. In 1905, Natalia Grigoryevna Korkh lived in Tver [5] . Children:

In 1875, E.A. Rosen entered into an extramarital affair with a peasant woman of the village of Maryinsk of the Chepel volost Ksenia Ivanovna Bobritska . For more than three years, their relationship continued and from this connection two children were born. This connection became the basis for the divorce of E. A. Rosen from Natalia Grigoryevna. As a result, E. A. Rosen was doomed to celibacy, and the peasant K. I. Bobritskaya was also punished for adultery with 4 years of epithymia, and before that, on May 25, 1880, she was married to the tradesman of the city of Kharkov, Peter Likhvintsov, and moved to Lozovaya station . A certificate of Rosen was given.
  6. ↑ Leonid Evgenievich Rosen repeatedly tried to publish the complete manuscript of his Father’s Notes in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. However, everything published by him contained only inaccuracies and supposedly oral stories of his grandfather.
  7. ↑ Both were baptized in the Transfiguration Cathedral of the city of Raisins. In both cases, the legitimate son of Baron E. A. Rosen, Vyacheslav, acted as the receiver.
