Story
Jolly Grimm is a once-outstanding silent movie comedian whose fame faded with the advent of the age of sound films. Wanting to return to the top again, Jolly, at her own expense, removes a dumb tape about a fat Franciscan monk. For the premiere screening, he gathers a large group of Hollywood celebrities and producers at home, hoping that one of them will want to buy a movie for rental. However, a dumb picture with a serious subtext does not cause interest in a satiated public. The second blow for Jolly is the fact that his girlfriend Queenie is not indifferent to the courtship of one of the guests - a cute movie star named Dale Sword ...
