Kamo Ivanovich Atayan (in Armenian: Կամո Աթայան ) (b. 1959 in the village of Dzhrakhatsner of the Askeran region of the NKAR ) is a political and statesman of the NKR .
- 1976 - graduated from the secondary school of the village of Avetaranots and at the same time, the correspondence physics school at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
- 1981 - graduated with honors from the Physics and Mathematics Department of the Stepanakert Pedagogical Institute.
- 1981 - 1991 - worked in a secondary school in the village of Averanots.
- 1985 - was appointed head of the cabinet of physics and astronomy of the Nagorno-Karabakh Institute for Advanced Studies of Teachers.
- Since 1991 - worked at the Department of Physics of the Stepanakert Pedagogical Institute, then was the dean of the general technical faculty of the Artsakh State University.
- 1995 - was appointed director of the Nagorno-Karabakh Institute for Certification and Training, then Deputy Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the NKR .
- Since 1997 - was the scientific secretary of the Council of Rectors of state universities of Armenia .
- July 14, 2005 - by the decree of the President of NKR he is appointed Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of the NKR .
