Serge Thion ( French Serge Thion , April 25, 1942 , France - October 15, 2017 France ) is a French sociologist who specializes in Africa and Southeast Asia and, in particular, Cambodia . Famous Holocaust revisionist .

Biography
Tion attended high school at the Lyceum Michelet in Vanves.
In 1960-1970, Thion took part in the anti-colonial struggle against the South African apartheid regime, supported the anti-colonial movements for freedom of Algeria , the Portuguese colonies, Palestine, and protested against the war in Vietnam and Cambodia . At the same time, he studied sociology and anthropology at the Sorbonne [4] .
In the late 1970s, he became interested in the historical revisionism of Robert Forisson . From 1971 to 2000, he was an employee of the National Council for Scientific Research , until he was dismissed from all positions on the council, at the direct direction of Prime Minister Lionel Jospin , as he continued to support Holocaust denial. [5] Together with Pierre Guillaume, he is considered one of the founders of the Association of Former Storytellers of War and the Holocaust ( AAARGH ) [6] .
Serge Thion also proved himself by denying genocide in the actions of the Khmer Rouge regime in Cambodia [7] .
The 2006 Holocaust Conference in Iran , he attended as a representative of France. Together with Michel Renouf , Fredrik Tobin, Christian Lindtner, Christian Bernhard Schaub, he founded the revisionist World Foundation for Holocaust Studies.
Serge Thion regularly writes on revisionist topics, has published several books and many articles. In 1980, with his book entitled “Historical truth or political truth?” He introduced the general public to the Forisson case and the issue of gas chambers [8] .
