Content
History
Originally known as the Zuburunov farm. The author of the Historical and Geographical Dictionary of the Saratov Province, published in 1898-1902, A.N. Minkh, suggested that the name of the farm dates back to the surname of the Cossack Volga Cossack army Zaburunny, who owned several farms in Ilovla [3] .
Since 1928 - a farm in the Olkhov district of the Kamyshin district (the district was liquidated in 1934) of the Lower Volga region (since 1935 - the Stalingrad region, since 1936 - the Stalingrad region) [4] , since 1961 - the Volgograd region [5] .
General physical and geographical characteristics
The farm is located in the steppe area, on the right bank of the Ilovli River, at an altitude of about 80 meters above sea level. In the Ilovli floodplain - floodplain forests [6] . The soils are chestnut , in the floodplain of Ilovli - floodplain saline [7] .
The highway Olkhovka and Ilovlya passes through the village. By road, the distance to the regional center of Volgograd is 170 km, to the regional center of the village of Olkhovka - 6 km [8] .
