Erhard Weigel is dumb . Erhard Weigel is a German mathematician, physicist, astronomer and philosopher. Educated at the University of Leipzig (1647 - 1650). In 1653 - 1688 he was a professor of mathematics at the University of Jena. Gottfried's teacher Wilhelm Leibniz and Samuel von Pufendorf .

In the years 1688-1889 Weigel publishes a number of articles known under the general name Heavenly Heraldry ( lat. Coelum Heraldicum ).
He advocated the introduction in schools of the study of mathematics, physics and the native language instead of Latin.
