SpreadWest Africa from southwestern Nigeria to Equatorial Guinea and Gabon , as well as Bioko (Equatorial Guinea) and the northeast of the Democratic Congo . [2] .
DescriptionSize reaches 3 cm. Head and torso are elongated, eyes are medium in size. There are suckers on the fingers, making it easy to move around the leaves of trees and even on vertical glass surfaces. They are skillful jumpers. The coloring consists of dark and light brown spots, on the sides there are pink, white or beige spots. [3] .
LifestyleThey live in tropical and subtropical lowland forests. Day is spent on the ground, and at night they climb trees. Avoid the sun. They feed on small invertebrates , above all, ants and other insects . [4] .
ReproductionNests are arranged in the cavities of trees containing water, where tadpoles grow. Care of the offspring is engaged in the male. [5] .
