Biography
Born November 11, 1970 in Bloomington. Since 1996 [4] - columnist for Sports Illustrated [5] . His subjects are tennis, NBA, sports business and mixed martial arts. The author of the book Strokes of Genius: Federer, Nadal, and the Greatest Match Ever Played , dedicated to the final match of the 2008 Wimbledon tournament between Roger Federor and Rafael Nadal and co-author (along with Toby Moskowitz) of the book Scorecasting: The Hidden Influences Behind How Sports Are Played and Games Are Won , a large-scale statistical analysis of common misconceptions in American sports.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University (1993) and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania (1997).
Wertheim lives in New York with his wife Ally and two children. [four]
