Abdominal migraine - a type of migraine , which is characterized by the presence of pain in the abdominal cavity . This type of migraine is typical for children and adolescents, but it is also found in older individuals.
Reasons to
Abdominal migraine is formed in children in connection with nervous experiences associated with studies or relationships with peers, eating unhealthy foods. However, the main cause of the manifestation of the disease is the hormonal background of the child, which is especially variable during puberty.
Diagnostic criteria
Diagnostic criteria for abdominal migraine for ICGB-II 2004 [1] :
| BUT. | At least 5 seizures that meet the criteria for BD. | |
| AT. | Attacks lasting 1β72 hours (without treatment or with ineffective treatment). | |
| WITH. | Abdominal pain is accompanied by all of the following characteristics: | 1. localization in the midline, around the navel or difficult to localize; 2. stupid character; 3. moderate or severe intensity. |
| D. | An attack of abdominal pain is accompanied by at least two of the following symptoms: | 1. anorexia; 2. nausea; 3. vomiting; 4. pallor. |
| E. | Not related to other causes (violations). |
