The Russian Handball Super Cup among women's teams is a trophy that is played at the beginning of each season between the Russian champion last season and the Russian Cup winner last season. If the champion and the owner of the Cup is the same team, then in the match for the Super Cup with the champion the finalist of the Cup plays. The trophy is held by the Russian Handball Federation and consists of one match. The trophy was first played in 2014 [1] [2] [3] . Currently, the title sponsor of the tournament is the Olympus bookmaker, replacing the VKontakte social network in 2018 [4] [5] .

Rules
Annually for the tournament, applications are developed, which are approved by the Executive Committee of the Federal State Statistics Service and contain the composition of the participants, the system, date and place of the competition, lists of judges on the site and inspector judges [2] .
For the Super Bowl, only one game is played until one of the teams wins. If the clubs tied, the winner is determined by the result of additional playing time. It includes two halves of five minutes with a one-minute break. If after this the score remains the same, a second extra time is assigned, it also includes two halves of five minutes with a minute break. After which, if the situation has not changed, appoint a series of seven-meter free throws [3] .
The winner is awarded with a challenge cup and receives the title “Winner of the Russian Super Handball Cup of the Year N”. Both teams are awarded commemorative plaques [3] .
