Career

He started playing football in Pirin [1] . On August 9, 2008, he made his debut at the professional level. In the first half of the 2008/09 season, spent 16 matches, scoring 8 goals.

In December 2008, the two "Pirin" united and Delev was in the team that plays in the top division of the Bulgarian championship .

On March 4, 2009, Delev's goal helped Pirin to knock out the CSKA Sofia from the Bulgarian Cup .

In the course of the semifinal cup match against Levski, Delev was urgently hospitalized after falling on the lawn and not breathing. Later it turned out that the reason for the spasm of the lungs was that he went out to play with the flu.

June 11, 2009, was named the best young player in Bulgaria in the 2008/09 season.

On June 27, 2009, he moved to CSKA on loan for one season. Later he signed a full-fledged contract for three years. On August 27, he scored the first goal in the club - in the Europa League match against Dynamo Moscow [2] .

May 25, 2011 distinguished himself in the final match of the Bulgarian Cup against Slavia [3] .

On January 12, 2012, he signed a contract for three and a half years with the Turkish “ Mersin Idmanyurdu ” [4] , but in June 2012, terminated it for financial reasons [5] .

January 31, 2013, after spending seven months without a club, he returned to CSKA [6] .

July 30, 2013 on the rights of a free agent, he moved to Las Palmas , concluding a two-year contract [7] .

On February 20, 2014, he moved to Lokomotiv from Plovdiv .

July 1, 2015 signed a contract with "Beroe" .

On June 20, 2016, he moved to Pogon , concluding a three-year contract [8] . He made his debut in the Polish Championship on July 16, 2016.

Team

In October 2008, he called up the Bulgarian youth team for friendly matches against Greece and Macedonia.

He made his debut for the main team on March 26, 2011 in the qualifying match for Euro 2012 against Switzerland [9] .

On March 25, 2017, he scored twice in the net of the Netherlands , scoring his first goals for the national team and bringing her victory in the qualifying match of the World Cup [10] .
