Dustin Yellin (born July 22, 1975, Los Angeles) is a contemporary artist living and working in Brooklyn (New York). [1] Founder of the non-profit cultural center Pioneer Works .

Biography
Dustin was born in 1975 in Los Angeles , California . In 1980, he moved to Telluride , Colorado . In 1990, he dropped out of school to travel and study physics . In 1995 he moved to New York . In 1996-2001, he experimented with various techniques, including oil paint on canvas, resin, airless spraying and collages ; in 2002 - the first experiments with multilayer resin. In 2005, he moved to the Red Hook area in Brooklyn , where he opened the Kidd Yellin Gallery (133 Imlay Street). In 2007, he went to the Ecuadorian Amazon to film a documentary about the Achuar tribe together with photographer Charlotte Kidd. In 2011, he bought the Pioneer Iron Works plant (159 Pioneer Street), which later became the Pioneer Works Center for Art and Innovation ( English Pioneer Works Center for Art and Innovation ). [one]
