The general election in Kenya was held on August 8, 2017 . They elected the president, members of parliament and governors of the regions. The current president, Uhuru Kenyata, was re-elected with 54% of the vote. However, the results of the presidential election were later canceled. His main opponent, Raila Odinga, refused to admit the results and challenged them in the Supreme Court. The results were canceled. The second presidential election was held on October 26, 2017.
