Tatyana Pavlovna Komissarova ( February 21, 1964 , Lebedin - June 17, 1987 , Kunduz ) [2] - Soviet nurse, private guard of the Armed Forces of the USSR [1] , who participated in the Afghan war (as a civilian) [3] .

Biography
She was born on February 21, 1964 in the city of Lebedin (Sumy region of the Ukrainian SSR). Russian [4] .
She graduated from high school No. 4 of the city of Lebedin and the Lebedinsky Medical School named after Professor M. I. Sitenko [2] [5] . Since 1982, she worked in the Sumy Regional Hospital as a nurse of the surgical department [4] [2] [5] .
Voluntarily through SumyOGVK was sent on March 11, 1986 to be hired by a limited contingent of Soviet troops in Afghanistan [4] [3] as a nurse in the 1138th military infectious diseases hospital (military unit 92834, Kunduz) [1] [2] [5 ] . Much attention was paid to restoring the health of soldiers [4] [5] .
She became seriously ill and died on January 17, 1987 [3] . She was buried at the Mironosnitsky cemetery (the city of Lebedin) [4] [3] . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 8 (according to other sources, December 18) 1988, Private Komissarova Tatyana Pavlovna was awarded the Order of the Red Star (posthumously) [2] [4] [3] for courage, bravery and civil valor of the guard.
In 2014, memorial plaques were installed on the buildings of secondary school No. 4 and the medical school named after Professor M. I. Sitenko in Lebedin [5] .
