Biography
Born on December 21, 1909 ( January 3, 1910 ) in the village of Maryanovka, Verkhnedneprovsky district, Yekaterinoslav province (now in the Pyatikhatsky district of the Dnipropetrovsk region) in a peasant family.
In 1931 he graduated from the Rabfak, entered the Krivoy Rog Mining Institute , from which he graduated in 1936, a mining engineer. From 1936, he worked at the Bolshevik Mine (Krivoi Rog), head of the mining and capital works section, head of the mine, head of mining, then chief engineer at the mine administration named after Karl Liebknecht .
At the beginning of World War II was evacuated to Zlatoust .
In 1941-1947, he was the chief engineer, manager of the Zlatoust ore administration of the Uralrud Trust (Chelyabinsk Region). In 1947-1950, he was the manager of the Uralrud Trust.
He returned to Krivoy Rog in 1950. In 1950-1955 - in senior engineering positions in Krivoy Rog, he worked as chief engineer managing the Leninrud Trust.
In the years 1955-1965 - Deputy Minister of Ferrous Metallurgy of the Ukrainian SSR. Since 1955 - Head of the mining industry, in 1957-1965 - Deputy Chairman of the Dnepropetrovsk Economic Council.
Since 1965 - Deputy Minister of Ferrous Metallurgy of the USSR.
In 1965-1967 he was a member of the Lenin Prize Award Committee. He was a member of the Interdepartmental Council on the explosive business of the USSR.
Member of the CPSU since 1931. He was elected a member of the Kusinsky District Committee of the CPSU.
He supervised the construction of the Central , Southern and Ingulets mining and concentration plants in Krivoy Rog, contributed to the construction of the Krivoy Rog State Circus , the airport, and the light rail.
He graduated from work in the position of Deputy Minister of Ferrous Metallurgy of the USSR, while being retired, transferred to the younger generation work experience and knowledge.
He died in October 1994 in Moscow.
Awards
- State Prize of the USSR (1983) - for the creation of scientific foundations for the rational extraction of solid mineral reserves and the introduction of results into the mining industry;

- Order of Lenin ;
- three times the Order of the Red Banner of Labor ;
- Order "Badge of Honor" ;
- Honorary Citizen of Krivoy Rog (03/25/1975);
- Miner's Glory sign , 1st to 3rd degree;
- Diploma for the book "Ore and People."
Memory
The street is named in the Pokrovsky district of Krivoy Rog.
