Garry Andreevich Eller (born 1941) is a Soviet and Russian ski and biathlon coach .

Biography
Harry Eller was born in 1941 in the city of Engels, Saratov Region [1] in a family of Volga Germans [2] . After the start of World War II, my father went to the front, and five-month-old Harry Eller and his mother were deported to Siberia. They lived near the village of Filimonovo of the Kansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory . In 1942, his father returned from the front and moved to his family [3] . At the age of five, Harry Eller moved with his family to the city of Borodino . He studied at Borodino secondary school No. 64. There he became interested in skiing [3] .
After graduation, he worked as a fireman and assistant locomotive driver in a coal mine railway workshop. In 1962 he was drafted into the army [3] . In 1972 he graduated from the Department of Physical Education of the Krasnoyarsk Pedagogical Institute [1] .
Since 1966, he worked as a teacher of physical education at Borodino school No. 68. He was among the initiators of the opening in 1975 in the city of Borodino of a youth sports school [1] . In 1978, Harry Eller became its director [3] . This school was named after Eller during his lifetime [2] . In 1992, he transferred to the post of director of a health-improving and preventive complex based on the section [3] .
He trained many biathletes. Among them are two-time Olympic champion Olga Medvedtseva , silver medalist of the Olympic Games Olga Romasko .
In 2014, Harry Eller was the torchbearer of the Olympic torch relay of the Winter Olympics [1] .
